Leslie Cavendish was a young apprentice hairdresser who worked for Vidal Sassoon in the 1960s when one day he had to cut the hair of actress Jane Asher who was then Paul McCartney’s girlfriend. Before long, she called him to ask if he could do her the favor of going to Paul’s house to cut her boyfriend’s hair. So by chance, Leslie’s life changed completely. Before long, he not only cut the hair of the four members of the group but also other invited musicians and employees of Apple Records.
The Cutting Edge
He participated in projects such as the “Magical Mystery Tour” that recounts from within, and has many other curiosities of the Beatles never counted. A fun and easy-to-read book that shows not only a new facet of the great music group, but is also a portrait of English society in the late 1960s.
