Despite the fractured attention that The Beatles gave to the Yellow Submarine film project, the time spent on the whole thing was quite considerable, and when you realise just how much was indeed going on, it is a wonder that any time at all was spent on it by The Beatles.
John Lennon would could always be handed the opportunity to serve up some humour did so again with this Yellow Submarine Conduct Agreement. This was purely from his own fertile mind, so please enjoy, and only sign it if you wish to be fully committed.
I signed up years ago!!!!

OUE FEATURED BOOK OF THE DAY – CAVERN CLUB

Cavern Club – The Inside Story
This first-hand account of Debbie’s teen years frequenting and eventually helping to run the original Cavern Club is the authentic inside story of the Beatles launch pad, full of triumphs and failures – and surprise celebrity encounters.
Fascinating Document, Nigel! John’s sense of humor was the best and often relieved a lot of tension. Of course, at times it could also escalate it as well! That dichotomy was what was so appealing of the man! Yet he was also despised for that aspect of his character! I loved him for that feature of his character despite what sone critics may say!
I wonder if that George Harrison part is due to the story(Myth?) of the Harrison vs Ono cookie caper?
My exact thought! (And it was not a myth – Yoko did eat some of George’s biscuits/cookies and he flipped out next to John (watching her in the control booth)
That is so funny!
Hello to Nancy and all here,
Glad you liked the conduct agreement. Yes it shows the lighter side of John to an unlimited degree, and what with the confusion and all going on, maybe it was not just to let people know that fact, but like Jeremy in the film was it also a nice way of saying Help?. We may never know, but it is a great little “tait tar tait” as we Brits say
Best always Nigel P
