I always thought of the term because as attempting to find a reason or explanation for something!
THE SONG TITLE “BECAUSE”
The song title Because has figured prominently in the lives of both John and Julian Lennon. John’s song appeared on the swan song Abbey Road album and Julian covered the Dave Clark’s hit called Because in 1986 and many years later released an EP featuring his own composition with that title, done in a rocking style. First – Julian Lennon, The Son
Both John Lennon and his son, Julian Lennon made the choice to record songs entitled “Because”. Julian did it twice. One was a cover and one was an original composition. John did it once on the Beatles last album, Abbey Road!
Julian Lennon in 1986 was asked by Dave Clark 5 headman, Dave Clark ,to participate in the musical soundtrack he was staging at the Dominion Theatre in London, called TIME. Julian Lennon did not appear in the show, but he recorded three songs for the vinyl soundtrack for the musical. The three songs were the Dave Clark 5 hit, Because, Time Will teach Us All, a duet with Stevie Wonder and If You Only Knew!
I was able to attend one of the performances of the musical in 1986 In London and it was wonderful treat to view and to listen to:

ONE OF THE BEATLES MASTERPIECES– “BECAUSE” – DAD’S CREATION!
John Lennon reportedly heard Yoko Ono playing Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata and it inspired him create one of the most underrated tracks on the Beatles epic Abbey Road album. The intricate harmonies, the simple but very clever lyrics, and the beautiful instrumentation made this one of the most beautiful and memorable tracks that they ever recorded. However, it never receives as much interest as many of their big selling hits does. That is a true shame as “Because” may be in my top all-time 5 selections of favorite Beatles numbers!
