THE BEATLES ROOTS – BEATLES GENEALOGY

A Great Beatles Genealogy book – published in 2018 by AR Heritage Publishing and authored by Richard A. Edmunds.

A brilliant book tracing the heritage and lineage of four of the world’s best known personalities. You will be amazed at some of the details provided in this book. Understanding where one comes from as was exemplified in the hit TV miniseries “Roots” helps to shed some light as to the synergistic properties that help to predict or lay the groundwork for the future.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book which helps to dispel some common Beatle myths and also adds significantly to our knowledge-base. Reading this book helped me to understand the magical prescription that helped to develop the fantastic story that would unfold over the years!

  1. It’s a shame that both the front & back covers have the photos printed backwards. ☹️
Hopefully the contents are more error-free.
Is there anything new that wasn’t covered in the unabridged version of Mark Lewisohn’s bio “Tune In” in 2013?

    1. I enjoyed the book because it deals specifically with the genealogical subject matter. Even though Lewisohn is unparalleled in his level of detail in his books, I can often feel like I am drowning in the significant amount of detail being offered. I personally have a low attention span that inhibits me from reading large amounts of print material in a single sitting. I look for bits of info that are of interest to me personally. I enjoyed this book because of the subject matter specificity. As to the backwards photos, you have made your opinion very clear on that issue before, and I do not disagree with the critique, but it is not an essential matter for me to dislike the book. That’s the beauty of opinions. We all can have one and most of us are able to justify those opinions based on what we individually deem to be important support for those opinions!

      1. Oh, well, different strokes for different folks! I personally loved the unabridged version (read the abridged version first!) It took me quite a while to get through it, but all the history and genealogy was fascinating to me. I hope Mark releases part 2 asap. Hard to believe this year it will have been 12 years since part 1 was released!
